About

Curious about intimacy — and serious about evidence

CurioBlush is adult intimate science education: bold and frank, science-checked, and never explicit.

Our mission

Most of us learned about our own bodies from rumours, embarrassment or porn. We think adults deserve better: clear, warm, shame-free explanations of the pelvic floor, pleasure, sexual wellness and relationships — grounded in peer-reviewed research and honest about what science doesn’t yet know.

  • Frank, not explicit. We use plain anatomical language and abstract diagrams. No nudity, no explicit acts.
  • Science-checked. Claims are tied to published sources, listed at the end of every article.
  • Education, not therapy. We don’t diagnose, treat or offer therapy, and we always point you to the right professional when it matters.
  • For adults. Everything here is intended for people 18 and over.

Our host is AI-animated

Portrait of the CurioBlush host, an animated character

The presenter you see in our videos and artwork is an AI-animated character, not a real person and not a clinician. We chose an animated host so topics that can feel personal stay approachable — and so no real person has to be the face of intimate subjects. The research, scripts and editorial decisions are made by humans.

Medical review policy

Every article and video script is reviewed by a qualified health professional (for example a physician, pelvic floor physiotherapist or certified sex educator/therapist, depending on the topic) before it is published as reviewed. Each article shows its review status at the top.

Current status: our first articles are marked Medical review: pending. They are carefully referenced, but a professional review has not yet been completed. When it is, we’ll name the reviewer, their qualification and the review date on each article.
